Press release from the City of Wichita: 8/4/2021 Contact: Steve Degenhardt, Construction Division Manager | (316) 268-4043 Page Content Tyler Road will close to through traffic at Harry Street beginning Monday, August 9 and last for approximately two weeks. The closure will allow for replacement of an existing storm sewer pipe under Tyler. During the closure, through traffic will be detoured to Maize Road both at Kellogg and K-42. Local traffic will be allowed south of Kellogg to Harry Street and north of K-42 to Tex Consolver Golf Course. Electronic message signs are posted along Tyler to provide advance warning of the closure. The $350,000 project is funded through the Storm Water Utility.
