ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock ISD will offer virtual learning for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade for fall 2021 who are not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, authorities said. Parents interested in their students participating in virtual learning should complete the transfer form, which will be open until 11:59 p.m. Aug. 9. Those unable to access the form online may contact or visit their home campus for assistance. .@RoundRockISD offers a virtual learning option for students in K - grade 6, at least through Fall 2021 since children under 12 are not yet eligible to receive the vaccine. The district said the virtual learning option will be available to allow time for vaccine approval for children under 12-years-old. District officials said students who choose this option will participate in virtual learning Monday through Friday. Curriculum will be facilitated by Round Rock ISD teachers and students will be assessed on their mastery of the TEKS standards.
