So far, an estimated 164,446,964 Americans have been fully vaccinated, or 50.3% of the U.S. population. So far, states have largely managed their own vaccination coordination efforts — and some have proven more effective than others. In Minnesota, 54.1% of the population are fully vaccinated, higher than the U.S. average. As of July 30, Minnesota has received about 6,729,000 vaccinations and administered about 90.4% of those doses. Meanwhile, the virus continues to spread. In total, there have been 611,458 confirmed cases of the virus in Minnesota as of July 30 — or 10,897 for every 100,000 people.
