Yardley Sunflower Festival Location: Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Rd.Time: Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Shady Brook Farm invites you to pick your own stunning sunflowers. Take a stroll through their beautiful fields for the perfect photo-ops, and enjoy fun including wagon rides, the BEARS playground, barnyard animals, the animated chicken show, an SBF 500 pedal go-cart, and gem mining (with an extra fee). Warminster Summer Classic Car ShowLocation: Vereinigung Erzgebirge Soccer, 130 Davisville Rd.Time: Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This car show at the sports club will last for six hours, with a Sunday rain date. New Hope Murder Mystery Walking Tours: Murder in the Jazz Age Location: Peddler's Village, Street Rd. & Route 263Time: Friday at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sunday at 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. If you yearn to step back in time to when guys and dolls danced the night away in hidden speakeasies, then join a walking tour with a murderous twist! Enter a world of gangsters, flappers and fellas, jazz bands and gin joints. Stroll the byways and shadowy corners of Peddlers Village, led by your guide – who just happens to be the victim of a 100-year-old murder! You will be tasked with inspecting the crime scene, gathering the clues, and questioning the suspects you meet along the way. And perhaps, just perhaps, you can stay one step ahead of a wily murderer, avoid a similar fate, and have a chance to solve a – MURDER IN THE JAZZ AGE! Guided Naturalist WalkLocation: Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, 1635 River Road Time: Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Naturalist Guided Wildflower Walks let visitors experience the preserve in a whole new way. Murder Mystery Outdoor Theatre: Murder at the MoulinLocation: Peddler's Village, Street Rd. & Route 263Time: Saturday, 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Under the new open-air event tent, enjoy a production presented by Without A Cue Productions! Step back in time to 19th-century France as Parisian characters, including mimes, painters, can-can dancers, and the conniving owners of Moulin Bleu put on a show to remember. This event is geared towards adults ages 18+. Dine before the show at Peddler's Village restaurants (reservations strongly recommended), or order take-out to enjoy during the event. Doylestown Oneness FestivalLocation: 320 Edison Furlong Rd.Time: Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Get advanced tickets online for this fundraiser and community event including events, free reading/healing, live music, and a closing fire healing ceremony -- plus vendors and great food! Organizers say it will be an "amazing, uplifting, and miraculous day." This is organized by and benefits AWAKEN CHE, Being One Center, Circle of Miracles, and Pebble Hill Interfaith Church. Bensalem Tree Planting In Neshaminy State Park Location: Neshaminy State Park, 3401 State Rd.Time: Saturday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Come help with the restoration and beautification of Neshaminy State Park. Organizers are continuing to restore this invasive overrun area in the spring of 2021 -- extending the existing canopy of trees after removing the invasive mass while it is still dormant from the winter, and planting native shrubs that have berries for the wildlife. Bill Wasylenko Jr. Memorial Car ShowLocation: 4319 Hulmeville Rd.Time: Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. This is a car show in memory of Bill Wasylenko Jr. from Mustang Stables in Bensalem. He and his father have been working on cars side by side ever since he can remember. To honor him, they're hosting a car show open to all makes and model cars, trucks and motorcycles.
