I need 2 workers to help me take down 150 feet of storm damaged 4” fence block wall and load it into a dump trailer. I’ll pay each of you $20 per hour cash money plus I’ll buy you lunch nearby (McDonald’s, Filiberto’s, etc.) each day. We will work 4 hours, take a 1/2 hour break and then 4 more hours to make an 8 hour day ($160 cash per day). If we agree together to work more than 8 hours in one day, I will pay you time and a half for the hours over 8 that day. You will need your own transportation. The job is in the vicinity of Schnepf Rd & Ocotillo Rd in San Tan Valley. I would like to get the job done in 2 work days. We have to take down and take away 11 sections of 6 ft. block wall. If we get it done on time, in two work days or less, each guy will also receive an extra $80 bonus, making your pay for the two days $400 (plus the two lunches paid for). It’s hard work, but not super hard. These blocks weigh about 20 pounds each and there’s about 800 of them to get rid of. I’ll have plenty of cold water, and a shade canopy for quick breaks. I am also looking for two people to work with me building the new wall once the damaged wall has been removed. Stocking blocks, mixing mortar, grouting and tending to the block later. This part of the job will last about another 5-7 workdays. After that we can talk about something more permanent if you’re interested and I’m happy with your reliability and work ethic.
