Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/29/2021 Preliminary Information: On 7/29/21, around 5:51 pm, officers responded to 3450 Martin L King JR DR SW in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim deceased on the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates there was a verbal altercation between the deceased male and a second male that escalated to gunfire. The second male remained on scene and investigators are speaking with him and working to determine the details surrounding the incident.
