Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/04/2021   On Tuesday August 3, 2021, at around 11:20pm officers responded to a report of a person shot at 60 Forsyth St SW. On scene officers learned that the patient had been taken to the hospital by POV. At the hospital made contact with the patient, an adult female, who had been shot. The preliminary investigation revealed that the patient had thrown a brick at a car and the occupant of the car shot her. It was also learned that the patient was reported as a missing person from another county. The patient was stable, and the investigation is continuing.   Please keep in mind this is preliminary information and may change as the investigation progresses.
