Man Killed In East Birmingham Shooting

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A man was shot and killed Tuesday in east Birmingham. The shooting occurred just after 5 p.m. at a Shell station at 3833 Eastlake Boulevard. Officers found 27-year-old Clifford Grayson dead in his car, which had collided with another car near one of the gas pumps. Officer Truman Fitzgerald said Grayson had been shot while driving, and that the preliminary investigation suggests he was involved in an altercation prior to the shooting.
