Drummer seeking - start new band, or available to join band

IF YOU ARE OLDER THAN 24 PLEASE KEEP ON SCROLLING. Don't waste my time. I am a 20 year old multi instrumentalist, but I am primarily a drummer. I've had experience playing in bands and playing live. I've been playing the drums for a total of 11 years. I'm looking for other serious musicians in the same age group who would wish to start a project. Anyone from the ages of 18-24. If there's already a band you're in already and you need a drummer, that works for me as well. I'm looking for serious musicians who want to actually write original music and get together more than just once a week. I have experience with songwriting, lyric writing, management, production, etc. I have the necessary drive and knowledge to keep a project afloat. I have a pro grade Pearl drum kit and a basement for a practice space, with a PA system as well. I've been primarily playing metal for the last two years, but my influences and the genres that I love are all the way across the board. I love thrash metal, heavy metal, classic rock, punk, grunge, hard-core, deathcore, metalcore, djent, death metal, pop punk, psychedelic, indie, etc. Some of my favorite bands of all time include Metallica, Green Day, the Beatles, Power Trip, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Foo Fighters, Death, Exodus, Slipknot, the list is very, very long. If it's a good band, chances are I know it, lol. I am located in the Sterling Heights area. If you're close, that's awesome, but if you live somewhat far away, we can always try and make it work.
