Description: A growing food manufacturer in North County San Diego seeks Bakers, Sanitors, and Line Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic and ambitious and use their drive to excel, while gaining valuable experience that would allow them to develop their career. Responsibilities: Line Operator: • Prepares and maintains the shaping station with tools, equipment and supplies for shaping the various pieces of dough. • Records the start and finish times on the bench schedule, in addition places paper tags on each rack before entering the proofer • Oversees the transporting of the finished (shaped) product to the proper proofing area and notifies baker. • Maintains storage of all shaping supplies and a clean and safe working area, reports unsafe hazards to shift lead. • May perform other duties as required. Baker: • Sets bake program, including bake time, oven speed, oven dwell time, temperature and humidity, for the products based on the recipes in the PLC, according to the product specifications • Continually monitors bake texture, color and product quality of products while exiting oven to ensure they meet specifications. • Comprehends and adheres to operational and safety features of oven and proofers. • Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area, including wiping equipment, tools, containers and dollies; sweeping and mopping floors and trash removal. • May perform other duties as required. Sanitation: • Maintains all building by washing wall, ceilings, floors, removing trash and disinfects all refrigeration units and cleans trash room. • Performs maintenance cleaning on Production Lines, sheet pans, crates, baskets, washer extractor, dryer. • Responsible for maintaining supplies such as paper products for bathrooms and towel dispenser in all buildings. • Maintains a clean and safe working area, reports unsafe hazards to shift supervisor. • May perform other duties as required.
