Description
Lead singer (male) seeks keyboard player with electronic features to simulate bass and drums, or separate bass player to begin band formation. I've been singing all my life and have two CDs, a pro music video, and tons of videos of live performances over the past 10 or so years (a good number of local people have played with me, know me, or at least have heard of me, but I am not "famous"). I sing most styles, including jazz, blues, rock, pop, soul, etc. and can sing with seasoned players in one or more of those genres. I have performed all over San Diego County for 9 or 10 years, mostly at pro-level jams, with many phenomenal musicians, and I've been told often that my stage presence is great. I continue to sing at these jams, and the quality of the players just keeps on getting better. Most are already in multiple bands and don't have the time to join another one. I am looking for men and/or women who are serious players, but who at the same time don't want to work their rear ends off and would be happy with one gig a week. Thus, if music is your only source of income, you most likely would not earn enough, at first or maybe ever. Very quick learners, please, as this is my final attempt and I need to act quickly. I know many musicians who pick up instantly or very quickly, so I would prefer that you have at least 10 years pro experience. You don't have to sight read but chart reading would help. No egomaniacs need apply. I will sing only with relaxed people who can get along. No political discussions. This is about the love of music, that's all. Thanks.
