Need help locating old case number- $80

Hi, I'm trying to find an old case in San Diego involving motor vehicles around late 1996 or 1997. It involved a pickup truck or SUV that hit/rammed his car into multiple vehicles in stop and go traffic (either highway 5 or 163) injuring multiple parties and I believe there were casualties. It took place earlier in the day and caused a large pileup of vehicles. To the best of my knowledge, he fled the scene. If you know the parties involved and case (I believe he was charged with a felony) please let me know. An old friend was telling me about this incident the day of and now I need more details in order to do some online search on that case. If you can find the case number or names so I can look up online I'll pay $80 for your time. Thanks in advance!
