Model Home Inspector Opening ** Must be Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) This is a part time job! This is a long term position! We are not looking for someone to be on board for a few months or even a year, we are looking for long term only. This individual goes to various cleaning projects, to inspect, replenish cleaning supplies, taking care of any cleaning issues, using our company van (Such as cleaning hard water spots from sink, Re-arranging bedding and fluffing pillows, dusting, etc.) and taking care of high lights -- (Cleaning light fixtures and changing out light bulbs - May require the use of a 6 foot ladder, which we supply) Work hours can start as early as 7:00 am and go as late as 6:00 pm. Although those times are extreme, and most days start at 8:00 am, there will be times, when starting early and ending late may be needed. Every other Saturday morning, there will be inspections needed at the projects. Some days you will start later in the day, so that you can interview and train at our models in the evenings. You will be using our company van, which is monitored through our built in tracking device. The company van is not to be used for any personal use, of any kind. No one other than a current employee of our company is allowed inside the vehicle. The company van will be parked at your home, so you will leave your home, to the projects. There will be times, when working during the evening will be required. When working the evening shift, this will include Interviewing cleaners, training cleaners and working closely with cleaners who need assistance with more training. There may be times, when you will be asked to cover a project, or work with a cleaner, to help them see what area's of improvements need to be made. Must be able to train new cleaners or work with existing cleaners to help develop their cleaning skills. (We train you in this) Must be able to schedule and sets up initial cleaning at projects. (We train you in this) Must be able to be in charge of initial cleaning. (We train you in this) Must be able to come to the main office in Pleasanton, every couple of months, in our company vehicle, for training, supplies, etc. Must have a smart phone, and be able to make calls, text, and email and be in communication throughout the day. Must have a personal computer and printer to print out emailed information from our office, that is pertinent to your daily work. Must understand that almost everything is urgent, so timing is important, returning of calls, emails, etc. Must be able to turn in inspection reports, receipts, etc. EVERY NIGHT, via email. MUST BE PUNCTUAL! Must be willing to drive wherever you are needed, in our company van. (This includes as far South as Hollister and as far North as Sacramento, although the Hollister area is rare.) There might be a few times, when you are asked to travel to Vacaville, Brentwood and the like. This is all done in our company vehicle. The main territory will be Stockton up past Sacramento, including Granite Bay, Lincoln, Rancho Cordova, Yuba City, etc. Must have clean driving record and must be insured to drive in California. Must be available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays for any openings, inspections, extra cleans, etc. Every other Saturday morning, for a few ours as well. These days should be free from appointments and anything that would prevent you from showing up to work. Must be able to lift 40 pounds with no issues. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder with no issues. Must be able to bend, kneel and walk for long periods of time. Must understand that if something needs to be done in the models, while you are inspecting it, you are to do it, and make note. Must be able to speak with other cleaners, in a kind, but professional manner, at all times. Must understand that when you leave a project, all issues should have been taken care of, and the main office should not receive any calls regarding issues, concerns or calls from cleaner needing supplies. Must have and be able to use common sense! Must be able to take ownership of an area, to feel responsible for all projects and cleaners. Must be able to understand, that although we are a cleaning company, we take pride in our work and we exude that same attitude to everyone, including cleaners, sales staff, etc. Must have personal smart phone, to receive/send email, text and telephone calls, also to take and send pictures, as needed. We will do give you a small amount, to recoup for the use of your phone. No benefits, no paid holidays. We work all holidays, if they fall on a our regular scheduled work day, except for Christmas day, Thanksgiving Day and New Years Day.
