Description
Hi!
I have a 13 year old border collie/ Australian shepherd mix that i am looking to find a "foster" hospice home for while i live in Tahoe in my car & camping.
He doesn't have any major health issues, but he is on meds twice a day for severe arthritis, (gabapentin) which i plan to keep paying for, as well as his food, vet, and toys.
We are both coming from Arizona, and i would love to keep him with me in the woods and while travelling but with his arthritis he just can't do that in his age.
I would love to find a place he can stay to sleep, eat, and be safe and still be close to me to where i can take him out in the area and not worry about how uncomfortable he will always be in my car.
He is okay with other dogs but is not playful and will tolerate cats, he loves playing ball and tug of war and just being around people.
he is absolutely my baby, im just finding myself losing any home to keep him in after leaving a six year relationship to which he came into with me and i need him in these last years of his life and he needs me.
He is a wonderful companion and i would take him out often for walks and hanging out, which any foster is more than invited to, i can't stay in Arizona in my car with the heat and i can't leave him.
