Hello! We are Siskiyou Sungrown, a licensed cannabis farm in Southwestern Oregon. We are looking for a few hard working folks to join our team for this years harvest. Company details: We are a premium health and wellness company in the hemp & cannabis industry in Oregon. Our cultivation is done all organically, in native soil, with regenerative practices. We grow outdoors, which means our entire crop must be harvested and brought in to dry & cure in the scope of 4 weeks. We are looking for folks who have have a great attitude, a good work ethic, and are ready to experience a large scale commercial cannabis harvest. We do not smoke cannabis on site, so do not come if you think this is a time to get high. This is a serious position where you will learn all the aspects of outdoor cannabis harvesting, and will help our dedicated crew harvest, hang, shuck, & bag several metric tons of organically grown cannabis. Ideal candidate: Physically strong with the stamina to work 40+ hours per week in strenuous conditions. Previous farm work experience is a plus. Current or recent athletic experience is a plus. No one with a criminal background need apply, or those with drug or alcohol dependency issues. A positive attitude is a must! We are a positive workplace and we demand a can-do attitude of teamwork and cooperation. Job: Harvest labor Status: Temporary full time position Time: Monday Oct 4th to Friday the 29th - 4 weeks of work. Hours: 7am-6pm Days: M-F is mandatory, some weekend work is available. Pay: $15/hr+ DOE Accommodations: We have a limited number of sites at the farm where individuals can pop a tent and camp. There is an outdoor shower (with privacy) and hot water, there is a camp-kitchen setup so folks can cook food, and there is porta-potty's for restroom use.
