Must meet the following criteria: -Minimum of 5 years experience in the HVAC trade. -Available to work a 40+ hour per week, weekends and on-call responsibilities -Able to work independently as well as with a team -Personal vehicle is required to be able to travel to various work sites within San Antonio, as required -Have a pick-up truck or other vehicle capable of transporting large equipment Job Duties: - Install and repair of heating and air conditioning equipment - Perform preventative maintenance on existing equipment Recommended tools to own: -Hand Tools -Tubing cutters -Swedging tool -Oxygen/acetylene torch set -Vacuum pump -Recovery machine (preferred) -Refrigerant manifold gauges (R-22 and R-410A) -Electric multimeter -Leak detection equipment Must have advanced knowledge in the following areas: -Brazing/Soldering copper pipes -Electrical Skills -Heat Pump equipment -Electric and Gas HVAC equipment -Commercial HVAC/boiler equipment is a plus -Equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting -Appliance repair -R-22 and R-410A Must have: -EPA Type I and II or Universal Certification -Appropriate work vehicle to transport HVAC/Mechanical equipment with insurance -Valid Texas Drivers license with an acceptable driving record Benefits Include: -Paid Time Off -Paid Holidays -Insurance -Cell phone and Mileage reimbursement -Company uniforms provided at no cost -Guaranteed 40 hour minimum work schedule per week, year around Schedule: -Monday - Friday: 9:00am to 6:00pm (Extended hours during peak times) -Saturday: On Call as needed during the summer -Overtime: Available as work load requires For the right candidate, we are willing to pay up to $30 per hour. Starting pay for an entry level technician is $15 per hour. Final pay is based on skills, abilities, experience and well roundedness in other areas outside of the HVAC trade.
