Description
An interior door was added to separate the basement level from the walk in level, but the sound travels easily between the two floors. At the moment the only sound proofing material is a soundproof mat hung over the door, and some soundproofing material installed under the stairs.
The work I'd like to be done would be to close a small open window in the wall (see photo), add more soundproofing material to the two walls, and another sheet of drywall to cover the material under the stairs. I'm also open to whatever other methods would help. My tenant is gone for the week so ideally this could be done soon.
