Job description: Night Loader/Unload Summary: Handles glass and aluminum products in a safe and efficient manner, loads and unloads trucks and racks, packs and stacks glass in appropriate areas in accordance with the following duties: Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Handles glass and aluminum products. • Operates air and electric hand tools. • Adheres to any and all safety standards. • Inspects product as needed to ensure quality standards. • Performs any additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Non-Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Operates heavy lifting equipment including, but not limited to, forklift if certified. • Operates/runs various production machines. Qualification Requirements: • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively to supervisor and/or coworkers. • Must be able to follow directions. Previous experience in manufacturing preferred. • HS Diploma/equivalent preferred. • Basic math skills, including tape measure required. • Must be able to perform tasks with little direction. • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds .
