We are a premium boutique winery in Santa Maria looking for a cellar worker for the harvest season.
Job duties include:
Sorting Grapes at the winery
Cleaning winery equipment
Winemaking fermentation management (punchdowns & pumpovers)
Forklifting bins and barrels
General winery labor
Harvest is a fast-paced and exciting time. Employees should expect long days in a cold, wet, but fun environment. We are a team of about 10 people. Lunch is often provided during the busiest days.
This is a full-time temporary position running from August 25th to mid-November.
Expect to work 6 days per week, including weekends - About 50 to 60 hours per week.
No previous experience required. We will teach and train dependable workers with a good work ethic.
