** DRUG SCREEN/BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED**
Responsible for providing support to a dredging project jobsite in accordance with Company procedures. Such duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Purchase approved parts, supplies and consumables for office, shore crew and vessels
Pull packing slips from deliveries to project site office and identify vessel/location on boxes before delivering to crewboat for distribution to vessels and/or shore locations
Assist with off-loading of trucks, transport of materials via pickup truck and loading of materials on company tug and crew boats.
Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for operating company owned/leased/rented vehicles
Help maintain all company vehicles with scheduled oil changes and other services, as needed, and immediately report any problems regarding the operation of the vehicle
Responsible for keeping track of receipts from purchases made utilizing the Site Administrators corporate purchasing card
Assist Site Administrators in the office with clerical duties as well as light cleaning of the office, as needed
Assist with transport of personnel as needed
Applicant should be well-organized, motivated, and eager to support office personnel as needed. Applicant must have proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Must be capable of safely lifting packages and parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
Compensation and Work Week: $ 14.50/hr; 8 to 12 hrs per shift depending on site needs. Candidate may be expected to work 7 days a week for duration of the project. Overtime pay will be paid for any hours worked over 40 hours.
Project Duration: Approximately 3-4 months with potential to work future projects as well
