Help me build a slat wall divider!

Hi I want to build a wood wall divider for my stairway similar to the one in the picture except the wood will run horizontally, and will be framed as a triangle so that I can take it on and off when we move in and out furniture. I bought the wood at Menards last night. It is a small just but has to be done right and realized I need someone who is going to be more precise than me like someone who has built furniture or done trim carpentry to help me build this. Measuring horizontal 6 foot, and vertical 5 foot with about 5 horizontal rails using 1 by 2 furniture grade pine. So we will build a triangle with up to 5 horizontal rails. I plan on staining it to match the floors when it is done. Let me know if you have an interest in helping me?
