Position Title: Utility/Material Handler Wage: $16.21/hour Shift: Days Help create joy by being part of a day shift team that manufactures party supplies! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate forklift or clamp to load, unload, transport or stack incoming and outgoing material - Band boxes for FedEx shipments to optimize weight for lowest cost shipment - Load or unload materials from or to pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices or other transport vehicles - Position lifting devices under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, bales or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designed areas - Maintain forklift certification - Collect scrap and supply workstations with bins, emptying bins, etc. Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous forklift experience - Able to lift up to 40lbs - Able to work in a hot environment - Able to stand and walk for duration of shift - Basic math and communication skills - Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, specifications, operating instructions and procedure manuals QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
