SEASONAL RECEIVING/BAKING PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER

Description

Duties: • Receives deliveries, checks and inspects conditions of shipments and notes damage or defects of shipments in receiving log according to HACCP guidelines • Unpacks and verifies accuracy of shipment with information on invoice/packing slip and/or purchase order; records any discrepancies • Disperses items to their appropriate locations • Periodically takes physical inventory of stock on hand and verifies control as required • Responsible for helping to maintain a well-organized department by stocking ingredients according to Lot Code, to maintain FIFO adherence • Must be able to work in a team oriented environment • Performs all aspects of bakery production, including, but not limited to the following: Prep work, baking, cutting, wrapping, clean-up & sanitation • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and work on your feet • Shares in the responsibilities of maintaining a food production facility, which is compliant with the Fairytale Brownies Food Safety Plan, FDA, Health Department and Kosher requirements • Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment at all times • Adheres to all safety rules and procedures for the production areas • Performs all of the above duties to the best of one’s ability, and with the utmost integrity, honesty and efficiency • Contributes to the team effort by assisting in other departments as needed Requirements: • Previous warehouse receiving experience • Fork lift certification preferred; will train • Must be able to work in an environment of temperature change from normal to below freezing • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) • Ability to read, write and understand English • Basic math skills (addition & subtraction) • Lift up to 50lbs • Maricopa County Food Handler’s Permit • Reliable transportation • Must possess strong work ethic, be dependable, punctual, and commit to completing the season WORK SCHEDULE: 6 AM - 2:30 PM MONDAY - FRIDAY SEASONAL JOB STARTS AUGUST 23, 2021 SEASON ENDS ON OR ABOUT DECEMBER 22, 2021 REPLY VIA EMAIL OR STOP BY OUR LOCATION TO COMPLETE AN APPLICATION: 4610 East Cotton Center Blvd., Phoenix 85040 Open 8 AM - 3 PM Monday thru Friday
