The Anser Charter School Custodial Staff is responsible for the cleaning, and maintenance of Anser Charter School main and accessory buildings, and grounds. The Custodial staff will work with the Site Manager to insure that all areas are safe and clean for student and staff use. The general hours are 8:00am- 1:00pm or 11:00- 4:30pm. Monday-Friday. Custodial staff report to the Organization Director. General Duties: • Cleaning and re-stocking of all bathrooms • Emptying of all trash and recycling containers. • Cleaning of main entrance areas including doors, windows and floors. • Cleaning and disinfection in classrooms, gym and hallways • Support of food service including after lunch clean up • Supporting AM Drop off and PM Pick up • Deep cleaning on a year round schedule. • Cleaning following special events in the building. • Securing the building for rental customers. • Snow removal from walkways, on an on call basis. • Regular pick up of the playground and parking lot • Communicating with the Site Manager regarding safety concerns, needed repairs and maintenance issues. • Tasks as assigned from the Site Manager. TO APPLY PLEASE USE THIS LINK: Qualifications: • All Anser employees must be vaccinated for Covid-19 and provide documentation. • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency. • 1 year custodial experience or food service preferred. • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and ability to perform the work. • Ability to follow written and oral instructions. • Ability to operate, maintain and perform minor repairs to all tools required to perform the job. • Sufficient strength, flexibility and balance to lift 70 lbs., stand for long periods, move throughout the building in one shift and perform cleaning and maintenance duties that require bending, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders. • Ability to pass State employee background check.
