Bass player + harmonies wanted for indie rock band road trips

Meets

Upper Darby PA

Description

Looking for a bass player who can sing harmonies to fill out our lineup for shows, post-pandemic. We're an inclusive group - all are welcome. If you’re always down for a long drive, I think we’ll get along! We do long weekend tours bi-monthly, make our way around the Philly scene, and practice at least weekly. We’ve had a great time playing the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Porchfests, house shows, World Cafe Live, and a ton of others. The connections we make with bands in and out of town are really important to us, we’re always happy to support cool people we meet along the way. We’re all around 30 and committed to this project - we work individually and as a group to be great at what we do and put on an awesome show. We're really looking for someone who is generally psyched to play like w eare. Tonally we’re pretty jazzed by classic sounds - old Fender amps, B3s and Rhodes, vintage drums. Hard to go wrong with a P bass into an Ampeg. Out of our catalog of songs from a couple records and some new singles from a record in progress, we play the songs live pretty faithfully to the records. However we build the shows together and come up with alternate arrangements, for example for our Field Trip series. We'll likely wait to be very busy with live shows until after the pandemic is under control, but we’ve had a great time live-streaming for the time being. Please send some samples so we can see or hear your singing/playing.
