Janitorial Crew Member (Full or Part Time Available) Summary of Responsibilities: The Team Member will be responsible for cleaning during evening hours, after 5 p.m. to as needed. Some daytime positions may be available or become available. Team Member must have good people skills and ability to work well with others. Must follow instructions from the supervisor as directed. Must be very dependable and able to work independently. Team Member will be responsible for keeping own timesheet and working under the supervision of the onsite supervisor, if applicable. Must have clear background and dependable transportation. Mileage pay of $0.44 cpm paid for multiple job sites. Essential Functions: General cleaning, including but not limited to: • Dusting • Vacuuming • Removing trash & recycling material • Mopping • Sweeping • Removing stains • Cleaning windows • Cleaning restrooms • Ability to stoop, reach and bend down repetitively. • Ability to follow instructions • Must be dependable • Must be at least 18 years old. • If medication is taken, need to be independent with taking prescribed medications. • Participate in all training sessions and mandatory meetings. • Ability to provide yourself with a sack lunch that will not spoil. • Ability to treat co-workers, suppliers, and others with respect. • Other job duties as assigned Safety Measures: • Use safe lifting techniques designed to minimize strain and work related injuries. Example: Bending down from the knees rather than from the waist, lifting close to the body with the arms doing the work (rather than the back). • Wear nonslip shoes and latex gloves when needed. • Be aware of hazardous material/chemicals. • Wash hands well with soap and water after handling debris and before eating. • Use Wet Floor signs when needed EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or equivalent.
