Sonesta Irvine hotel is looking for a MAINTENANCE ENGINEER to performs general maintenance OVERNIGHT to ensure hotel physical quality and safety standards are achieved and maintained. This position will perform maintenance and repairs, preventative maintenance, all areas of the hotel, and overnight security responsibilities. Education & Experience: -At least three years of experience in a hotel or related field is preferred. -Trade school and/or college coursework in related fields is helpful. -Previous SECURITY experience preferred. Physical requirements: -Flexible and long hours are sometimes required. -Heavy work - Exerting more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds of force frequently and/or over 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
