Description
The Housing Coordinator position supports and assists in the management of the company’s workforce housing. Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations of the property, including accounting, tenant relations, maintenance and repair, security, janitorial services, landscaping, snow removal, etc. The Housing Coordinator handles tenant complaints and service requests and must be familiar with the terms of the Housing Program Agreement. Assists in the preparation of the annual budget, reporting, and financial performance of the property. Respond to tenants’ requests/problems in a timely and courteous manner, and generate work orders directed to vendors or maintenance staff. Follow-up with tenants to ensure satisfactory resolution of the issue. Maintain property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints; enforcing rules of occupancy; inspecting vacant units and completing repairs; planning renovations; contracting with landscaping and snow removal services. Conduct periodic inspections of the property and tenant spaces to ensure compliance with leases and the proper upkeep of the property. Maintain building systems by contracting for maintenance services; supervising repairs. Ensure that there is 24-hour emergency coverage for the property at all times. Ensure that property and lease files are properly maintained and kept up to date following company policy. Prepare and maintain appropriate Team Member Housing Program Agreements, Room Block Agreement, leases, records, correspondence, and file notes. Assist with administering housing agreement, including providing the new tenant with an introduction letter regarding emergency contacts, insurance requirements, rent collection procedures, and maintenance request procedures. Determine and drive change in the organization to optimize efficiency. Be responsive to changes in project priorities. Enforce visitor hours Enforce quiet hours. This includes doing daily (and nightly checks) of the housing if necessary. Work with floor ‘key holders’ to ensure that tenants are not locked out of their room and/or the rooms are safe, clean, and livable. Schedule more meetings as necessary. If new guests are checked in after the orientation, ensure they have access to all of the same materials, rules, and knowledge. Perform any combination of light cleaning duties or oversee staff who perform this role. Duties include but are not limited to making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, emptying trash, and vacuuming. Ensure COVID-19 protocols are followed, and disinfectant duties are performed. Keep all public areas of the facility clean, including, but not limited to: walkways and outside areas around the facility. Ensure state law requires regular, unannounced fire drills are followed and evacuation route placards are attached to the interior of each room entry door at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring to Pacific Seafood: High school education or GED is required. Minimum two years of industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A valid driver's license is required. Two years of college is preferred. Strong computer skills in MS Office 365 are preferred. Total Compensation: At Pacific Seafood, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package.
