Siamese Kitten

Description

Story: I found this stray kitten in the field behind me while watching a dog creep up on something. I got there first, to find the kitten sitting there with his eyes glued shut with an upper respiratory infection. I grabbed kitten to keep dog known for killing cats from killing him and then "boom" I own a kitten. I took him to vet and got him antibiotics and eye ointment. He was too young for flea meds or shots as we think he was less than 6 weeks old. Vet said he was a Siamese mix. He's better now but! He was scruffy - had hair loss, etc. It wasn't until I came down with ring work that I figured out the hair loss on kitty was ringworm. I'm treating him (and me) for ringworm but he's not completely over it yet. He's being treated with a Sulphur dip and I'll do his second treatment today. It's just hard because he's so young and chemicals aren't too friendly with a young one like him - I do believe he's about 8-9 weeks so far. I'm so glad I found him; he's so sweet! Not much trouble other than being sick. Nuzzles your neck and nose and always wants to sit in your lap. He's so small and I doubt he ever gets very big. He uses the litter box as long as it's out where he can find it. I tried hiding the litter box behind a chair and he didn't use it so I had to bring it back out into the open - I think it's just cuz he's so young. Even though he was so young when I found him, he was so hungry that he took right to eating soft kitten food. Well, I've accepted a position whereas I have to move out of state. By Monday 8/9! He needs a good family who will continue to care for him and treat him like the tiny little being that's had a rough start to life. The highest financial offer will get him - this is to ensure someone means business when taking him. I don't want someone taking him as a cute little project and then discarding him or mistreating him.
