Our client is a large generics and specialty pharmaceutical organization, seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hr Position Overview: Seeking a passionate Maintenance Mechanic who wants to be a part of a great team! The Maintenance Mechanic will perform repairs and maintenance on machines and equipment. Typically performing work in one or more of the follow areas: machine and equipment repair, mechanical, electrical, sheet metal fabrication. The Maintenance Mechanic will test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment using blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic: • Monitors and performs preventative maintenance to assure cost-effective maintenance and a scheduled maintenance program • Performs repair work on equipment, utilities and systems as assigned by supervisor • Performs electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, as well as mechanical • Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used • Maintains all equipment manuals, equipment warranties, and tool inventories • Reviews work orders to ensure proper documentation • Directs mechanics in the use of safety equipment and procedures Qualifications for the Maintenance Mechanic: • 3 years or more experience in machine and equipment repair, mechanical electrical, fabrication • Must demonstrate strong technical skills Education Requirements: • High School diploma/GED certification is required • Vocational or Technical School with Machine and Equipment Repair, Electrical, Sheet Metal Fabrication experience is preferred Benefits: • Atrium Care package available, upon eligibility As a woman owned firm, we value diversity.
