Job Responsibilities: • Duties include but are not limited to, fabricating iron railings, fencing, gates, etc. Read shop drawings, transfer measurements from shop/hand drawings to your design table, perform layouts, cut parts, weld, and grind into a finished product ready for powder coat. • Maintains shop equipment and utilizes supplies effectively and efficiently. Uses only approved equipment purchased from authorized vendors. Ensures the equipment is kept clean and in good working order. Ensures that supplies and equipment are efficiently utilized. Ensures that all orders placed for equipment and supplies are complete prior to accepting and signing for the material received. • Prioritizes completes and communicates assigned work. Work assignments are prioritized chronologically unless otherwise indicated or requested. Communicates, in a timely fashion, any delays in work projects to the appropriate department. Demonstrates problem-solving skills by actively seeking solutions and when necessary, referring the problem to the Manager. Obtains the necessary information to accurately complete the job. Self-motivating. Minimum Qualifications: The required equivalent experience. NYS Drivers License Minimum of Two (02) Welding experience in either a commercial or Residential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Being bilingual is a plus Salary commensurate with experience
