Animal Hosptial in the Bronx Seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team! *Must be punctual, reliable and have an open schedule* *No experience necessary* *Affection for animals, concern for their welfare and willingness to accommodate animals/patients* Duties include: * TREATING ALL ANIMALS HUMANELY, PROPERLY, and WITH COMPASSION AT ALL TIMES, regardless of their situation or circumstance *Transporting animals to and from kennels *Ensuring animals have plenty of food and water at all times *Cleaning animal waste, spilled food, hair and other debris from the kennels * Disposing of trash in a timely matter *Cleaning animal runs, laundry, dishes and sweeping and mopping of public areas/ Hospital rooms (including bathrooms) *Humanely restraining animals while assisting Veterinarian and Veterinarian Technician *Restraining non-fractious and fractious animals for exams, vaccines, medication, blood withdrawal, etc. *Stocking supplies as needed *Following hospital dress code *Providing high quality customer service to clients and their fur babies *Maintaining a friendly work demeanor *Assisting Veterinarian and Vet Tech with additional tasks if needed If you would like to join our team and qualify for the requirements indicated above, please call 347-641-3676 for an interview Mon- Fri between 12pm-5pm *Face Masks are required and must worn at all times *Covid Vaccine encouraged
