Pejepscot History Center's popular Summer Walking Tour series - Park Row and the Mall, led by Don Westfall. For years, Pejepscot History Center walking tours have offered stories of the past, perspective on the landscape, social time, and exercise to participants. Park Row and the Mall, led by Don Westfall. Learn about the history on Pejepscot History Center’s very own doorstep. With cows, swamps, and trolley lines, this beautiful tree-lined street wasn’t always so idyllic! As its impressive houses were erected, the street and eponymous park took on its characteristically distinguished personality. This tour explores the development of the street, notable buildings, and their occupants. Please note that this tour begins outside PHC at 159 Park Row, Brunswick, Maine. Participants meet at starting point. Please check-in with tour leader at least 10 minutes prior to tour time. Space is limited. PHC maintains a waiting list for each tour in case of cancellations. Most tours are 75-90 minutes. Pejepscot History Center is a non-profit, educational organization charged with preserving the collective heritage of Brunswick, Harpswell, and Topsham.
