Half Way to St Paddy's Day Whiskey Tasting with a Tour Of ireland and Irish Whiskies
Come along with us on a brief but exhilarating tour of Ireland and Irish whiskies featuring uisce beatha: the “water of life.”
Irish whiskey distilling was once considered to be the finest in the world, but a series of historical events brought it to the edge of extinction. Fortunately, we are now experiencing a new golden age for Irish whiskey with new distilleries opening every year and an amazing number of creative new whiskies being produced.
Celebrate half way to St Paddy's Day by taking a tasting tour of the island of Ireland to learn more about this explosion of Irish spirits by sampling each of the four styles of Irish whiskey and visiting a distillery from each of the four cultural provinces. We’ll travel from Belfast to Cork and in-between. Our tour will sample four of the top rated Irish whiskies in the world and we’ll finish with a sample of the champion Five Farms Irish Cream created by happy cows from County Cork that have each kissed the Blarney Stone.
We’ll sweeten the pot-still even further with Celtic music by Cage O’Hanlon and The Mighty Fine Peppers and a chance to win a bottle of one of the rarest Irish Whiskies in the world. Join us for a fantastic night of whiskey, music and song. The craic will be mighty
