Sight Fishing for Striped Bass w/ Alan Caolo Alan Caolo is a veteran saltwater angler who has pursued nearly every inshore and offshore marine game fish. He’s been saltwater fly fishing for over 30 years, but he enjoys freshwater fishing quite a lot, too. Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, Alan quickly gravitated to fly fishing where he pursued trout and bass in the rivers, streams and ponds of the Berkshire foothills. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and he has authored two books on fly fishing – Fly Fisherman’s Guide to Atlantic Baitfish and Sight-Fishing for Striped Bass (Frank Amato Publications). He resides on the Rhode Island coast.
