Take the Yellow Brick Road to School Supplies on Sat Aug 28 from 2pm-4pm We’re off to see the Wizard and he’s giving out school supplies! On Sat Aug 28, NYSoM presents The Wizard of Back to School Oz from 2-4pm @ El Barrio Garden - NYSoM will be distributing sets of School Supplies (There will be limited sets of school supplies , Supplies will be First Come, First Serve -No reservations) - See Wizard of Oz characters such as Dorothy, The Tin Man and the Wicked Witch of the West and participate in activities for extra school supplies - Please wear a face mask or face covering and stand 6 feet apart from other attendees of the event All school supplies will be distributed First Come, First Serve. No Reservations. A ticket does not reserve school supplies Stay tuned to our instagram @ instagram.com/nysomcommunity for updates and an giveaway raffle for this event   NYSOM Group is an organization dedicated to ending the cycle of poverty in the New York City Metropolitan Area.   NYSOM Group has three primary functions which we use to accomplish our goals   Nysom participates in community service projects with various organizations in NYC that offer services to different sectors of the community living below the poverty line. (Homeless, Elderly, At Risk Youth, Disabled, Low Income Families, Working Poor, Etc)   Nysom also has a number of community outreach programs in development. Our goal is to offer a number of programs directly to our target community of those living below the poverty line .(Homeless, Elderly, At Risk Youth, Disabled, Low Income Families, Working Poor, Etc)   Nysom also produces community events to make a positive impact in low income communities. The events can be recreational, educational or inspirational but the point of the event to create a positive atmosphere that will give residents of the community an alternative to their normal surroundings.   Through Nysom Group’s projects, programs and events we aim to continue to be a source of service for the community living below the poverty line and an organization that can continue to make a long lasting positive impact in the NYC area.
