Free backpacks, books, food, live performances, and community resources! 24th Ward Alderman Michael Scott Jr., Open Books, and North Lawndale Reads invite all families out to a Back To School Lit Fest on Saturday, August 28 from 12noon - 4pm across from Stone Temple Church (across the street from Stone Temple Church at 3622 W Douglas Blvd). There will be (while supplies last): Free back giveaways Free food and drinks Free book giveaways Free haircuts Live performances Health services Community resources COVID vaccination & more!
