Celebrate Family PRIDE with Silent DISCO and Hooping Workshop SILENT DISCO, Put on your headphones and let's dance. Looking for a sweet night out? Dance the evening away at Canco Park! This year's Silent Disco comes to the lawn at Canco Park: don headphones and pick the music. We'll have three channels, including a live DJ. Choose your favorite and dance the night away! Feel free to bring your own music and headphones, but only the headphones we have will be able to tune into our DJs. RSVP here and arrive early to ensure you get your headphones. You will need a valid credit card and valid Photo ID to leave as collateral for the $5 headphone rental. Failure to return headsets will result in a charge of $100.00 Food Trucks will be in attendance for food purchase (see social media for details). SILENT DISCO is a Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride Festival event sponsored by Canco Park Conservancy together with Sawyer Smith Residential. HOW IT WORKS: When you arrive you’ll receive a pair of special wireless headphones. You can adjust the volume and choose between up to three channels with a flip of a switch. Each headset has a color LED that shows what channel you are listening to. It’s super social; you’re in control of the music! There’s no loud music that you have to talk over. WHAT TO BRING: + Valid Photo ID + You MUST have a credit or debit card for the check-in process. If the headphones are NOT returned, there will be a $100 charge to your credit or debit card after the event. + No need to print your ticket, just show the code on your phone or they will have your name at the door. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Event may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen conditions. A rain date may or may not be offered, and is not guaranteed. By registering for this event you agree to the following: I agree to social distancing requirement of 6ft. If I am not vaccinated, I understand that wearing a mask can reduce my risk of contracting COVID and is recommended. I understand that I may be photographed and/or recorded as part of the park's events announcements, social media, and future promotions for the park, Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride, Silent Disco, Canco Park Conservancy, Jersey City Parks Coalition, The City of Jersey City and its Departments. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in Canco Park Silent Disco , and am participating in the activity entirely at my own risk. I am aware of the risks associated with participation which may include, but are not limited to: physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, economic or emotional loss, and death. I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or others' negligence, travel to and from the activity, or from conditions at the activity location. Nevertheless, I assume all related risks, both known and unknown to me, of my participation in the activity. I hereby discharge Canco Park Conservancy, it's board, volunteers and members and Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride and all its affiliates, managers, members, volunteers, representatives, assigns and affiliates from any and all claims or causes of action and I agree to voluntarily waive any right that I otherwise might have to bring legal action against Canco Park Conservancy, it's board, volunteers or members or Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride for personal injury or property damage.
