Female Vocalist wanted for indie rock/lo-fi act

Description

Hi. I'm a singer/songwriter/musician, looking for a female vocalist. I would really like to work with someone who can also play guitar/bass/keys as well, but that's optional. I have a lot of original songs that would work best with two vocals, and lots where I would hope you would want to sing straight up lead vocals. I'd prefer to work with someone with a stable life, maybe 35 or older, and reliable. Please don't be shy. It's cute, but not great for a band. I have a decent home studio, and would be happy to start this out as a recording project, then play some places that have live music. I have a few songs on my bandcamp you could hear, but these are mostly done with a full band. Put on your headphones and try to imagine them with two vocals and fewer instruments. This song would be 90% female vox. (That's why I say "She said..." at the beginning.) www.thecontactlow.bandcamp.com/track/im-so-easy This one would be played slower and prettier than on this recording: www.thecontactlow.bandcamp.com/track/im-quiet-now I have lots of better examples of songs we could do, but they aren't online yet. Mostly my bandcamp songs are loud electric pop nuggets of gold. Ha ha. But, I have lots of happy/sad/pretty acoustic songs. I like heartfelt, lo-fi, recordings like this odd smashing pumpkins song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6QqkBErIWs Or this gem by Giant Drag: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbVfukrYzJo Or just about anything by Hope Sandoval/Mazzy Star, claire rosinkranz, or fiona apple. Or this Bettie Serveert classic: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAeE4z09HGQ Or this song that got me thru the covid days: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je5dIzrV4FQ You get the idea. Indie vocals. Not over-blown, not diva vocals, not rocker-chick. I'd be very open to adding bass, drums, keys, etc., but it would be easiest to start with the songs and vocals, then add the other stuff after. Or not. I'm easy. I live in lovely SE Houston, so I hope you're not too far away. Lastly, but very important to me, if you're even a little confused about how you feel about trump and his campaign of hatred, we won't get along. I have no patience or respect for people who have respect for that man. I'm hoping everyone has a chance at a good life. If you are not sure if you need a vaccine, trust me, you do. Thanks! Jason
