A member mixer under the new tent in the Alumni Center Courtyard Join the SIU Alumni Association for its End-of-Summer Member Mingle, from 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m., Friday, August 20 at the Alumni Center. Enjoy snacks and a selection of wine provided by the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail under the new Alumni Center Courtyard Tent. Network with fellow Association members, while celebrating the end of summer break and a new academic year beginning at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Admission is free. Parking is available in the Pulliam Hall parking lot adjacent Mill Street. The Alumni Center Courtyard is the center patio space of Woody Hall. As the largest and oldest organization on campus, the SIU Alumni Association has been proudly serving SIU alumni and friends since 1896.  It seeks to engage alumni, students, and friends of the university by preserving SIU traditions, promoting pride in an SIU education, and facilitating opportunities for students and alumni to connect professionally.
