Description
Havas Street is hiring a Part-Time Market Manager to manage the upcoming experiential campaign of a major wireless provider! This candidate will be expected to manage a team of Brand Ambassadors at retail + community events to build brand awareness in the markets listed below.
Market: Chicago and Chicago land area, Geneva, Dundee, Wheaton, Bourbonnais, Kankakee, New Lenox, Peoria and Bloomington (and any surrounding suburbs)
Position details:
• Contract begins ASAP and ends December 31, 2021 -
• Weekly Salary (W-2 Employee): Depends on experience + Mileage reimbursement
• Part-Time | Up to 29 hours per week
Duties:
• Promote the provider throughout the market and in some surrounding suburbs
• Hire, train, and manage a small team of brand ambassadors
• Admin work such as event reporting, photos, key event data, collecting and approving BA timesheets & recaps and more
• Compiling recaps and key event information into weekly and monthly presentations
• Manage a local storage unit, branded assets, distribute assets to team
• Manage a community and retail event schedule
• Lead community promotional events + collect leads/data capturing as part of consumer engagement
• Work alongside BAs to oversee successful events and ensure proper setup and breakdown of assets
Things To Consider:
• Market Manager will be taken on and off payroll per event volume and market needs
• Must be comfortable abiding by Covid19 training guidelines + enforcing them (masks, gloves, and sanitizer provided)
• Prior management experience in a similar role (1-year minimum) is a must; prior lead generation experience is a must
• Must be comfortable being on-site for all events, working alongside BAs on feet and outdoors
• Must have own reliable vehicle and clean driving record; subject to background check and proof of clean driving record
