It seems that your perception of homeless people may be inaccurate. Most people whom are homeless slipped into the situation over some period of time. Many people who are homeless are in the situation because the suffer from mental illness. A large percentage of homeless people are in the situation because they are addicted to drugs and or alcohol. If we re-open mental health facilities and drug treatment programs in America, our homeless population would drop almost instantly. There is a percentage of homeless people who choose the freedom of the lifestyle but this group seems to be the minority. Of couerse we need to be mindful of homeless people. These people are humans. All humans are created equal. Homeless people,e are fathers, sons, wives, moms, daughters, grandparents. Every person deserve love and an opportunity to thrive.
