Because according to the bible or babble as I call it along with many other religious texts those four things I mentioned above are all okay. And depending upon what version you read and the many differing interpretations, beating your wife is okay? Killing her for being raped is okay? Offering to murder your own child because of the voices you're hearing in your head is okay? If you truly believe in what you are saying then you are absolutely delusional and need to be locked up in a mental institution. The bible is all about murder, rape, genocide, torture, pedophilia and the subjugation of women. Religion is a poison to sane and rational thought!
