BGBT podcast is purposed to give voice to our stories about how the intergenerational trauma of racial and gender bias experienced during girlhood, impacted our sense of self and over-all well-being as women.
Gain a deeper understanding of the historical, political and social factors that have shaped our sense of self and examine methods of healing our minds, bodies and spirits so that we can discard ways of being that no longer serve us and discover new and empowering ways of viewing ourselves. Hindsight can propel us forward. Looking back at our lives as girls, we will explore the themes of self-knowledge, self- awareness, and self- acceptance. As we re-member who we really are, life purpose becomes clear, and we can fix our gaze toward the future with 2020 vision.
