NEW BERLIN, WI — The New Berlin Library Board will hold a special meeting on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The meeting will involve a public comment session, by-law updates and possible action over its material selection process.
The meeting will include 30 minutes of citizen comments, according to the agenda. Each person gets two minutes to speak about subjects on the board agenda, it added.
The board will then discuss and consider updating its bylaws and revising its organizational chart, according to the agenda. The board will need a majority vote to amend its bylaws, according to library documents.
The board will then discuss its material selection inquiry, according to the agenda.
The inquiry form is reviewed by the library director and staff and then forwarded to the Library Board for review and follow-up, Library Director Natalie Beacom told Patch.
