WHO WE ARE: We are Leschi Lakeside Property Management---we own and self-manage residential, commercial, hospitality and retail properties. Our offices are located on the shores of Lake Washington, in the business district of the Leschi neighborhood of Seattle. We are a small team that work collaboratively to manage the properties in our portfolio, and are ready to add a full time maintenance position. We are looking for an individual who is skilled in a wide variety of repairs. Someone who is, detail oriented, and performs quality work, with a customer friendly attitude! The right person will have knowledge in all aspects of property maintenance. As a small company, all of our positions require a certain amount of flexibility, and this position may continue to evolve as the company grows. You will fit in here if you are self-motivated, able to communicate clearly, and can balance multiple priorities. We value common sense, problem solving skills, and a strong service ethic. The Maintenance Team Member will assist in remodels, and tasks performed at apartment buildings, residential homes, and commercial properties both interior and exterior. They will also work closely with the Property Manager and the rest of the team in a collaborative manner. The Maintenance Team Member duties/tasks to include, but not limited to the following: Meet repair vendors and oversee work Plumbing Electrical HVAC Carpentry repairs Drywall patch and repair Painting Cleaning Exterior Cleaning Interior Landscaping JOB REQUIREMENTS: MUST have a smartphone, reliable transportation, (prefer the vehicle be a truck), current automobile insurance Knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, and minor remodeling Able to prioritize and work in a timely and efficient manner Provide excellent communication and customer service Display organizational skills and maintain records, receipts, invoices, and tools Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and are physically agile Able to pass a criminal background check HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 pm Occasional after hour/weekend emergencies Majority of our Properties located in Seattle, Mercer Island, Bellevue COMPENSATION: COMPETITIVE DOE ALLOWANCE: Automobile allowance SICK DAYS: 5 days per year BENEFITS: Medical/Dental/Vision (after 30 days) 10 days paid vacation Paid Holidays
