Dock High Logistics provides warehousing, order fulfillment and tailored support services exclusively to outdoor lifestyle brands. We seek a full time warehouse associate to join our team at our facility in Sumner. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to prioritize, coordinate, and perform all tasks related to picking, staging and auditing orders in a productive and timely manner.
Additional job duties include:
1. Review pick-tickets/orders for special remarks or instructions pertaining to packing or shipping requirements.
2. Organize and prioritize pick-tickets/orders to be picked.
3. Complete customer orders as specified in a timely manner.
4. Confirm orders after selection of products and stage appropriately.
5. Inform inventory of “stock outs” or any “inaccuracies” in pick locations.
6. Ensure quality packaging to prevent product damage during shipping.
A successful candidate must possess:
1. Stock picking experience.
2. Forklift certification preferred.
3. Good written and oral communication skills.
4. Basic word processing and computer database skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent customer service-related skills with a strong commitment to internal and external customer service.
7. Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
8. Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
9. Willingness to learn new systems and process, Warehouse Management System and general principals of inventory control.
10. Ability to study and apply new information.
11. Possess a work ethic that includes neatness and punctuality.
