In This Role You Will: Be a change agent in bringing our RxEvolution strategy to life! As a Department Supervisor within our warehouse distribution center you will be responsible for scheduling and directing quality, safety, and production activities for associates within a specific. Frequent independent judgments are essential. Develop departmental policies for associates to follow. Conduct safety training for departmental associates. Coordinate the human and equipment resources within the department. Develop organizational policies and procedures as part of the management team. Coordinate short and long-term goals and objectives for the department to ensure the needs of the distribution center are met. Analyze performance trends within the department to find ways for improvement. Conduct weekly departmental meetings. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position directly supervises associates within a specific department of the distribution center and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Bartell Drugs (Rite Aid) policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates; appraising associate performance; and resolving complaints.
