Job Description Fast growing wholesale distributor looking for an ambitious, intelligent, collaborative, organized and dynamic person to lead our team. The right person will have excellent team communication, support of others, reliability, attention to detail and self-managed follow-through. Summary of Key Responsibilities • Maintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse • Manage the flow of incoming inventory and outgoing inventory • Ensures the care and preservation of items received, stored and shipped • Lifting, moving, and efficiently stacking boxes up to 50lbs • Ensures safe (following current state regulations and OSHA guidelines), productive work environment for self and warehouse staff • Manage time efficiently by establishing priorities • Capacity to effectively plan workload and staff assignments • Prepare and complete all customer orders within company time and quality standards • Confirm all customer orders are shipped in good condition • Responsible for open and close of warehouse • Interview new warehouse staff and make recommendation to management • Regular updates and communication of product and inventory issues with and purchasing and staff • Train new warehouse staff • Ensure warehouse equipment is serviced and running properly Required knowledge and skills • Minimum 3 years' experience in distribution center or warehouse management • Extensive knowledge of warehouse or distribution operations including, safety, inventory control, warehouse layout & efficiencies, shipping / receiving processes, performance evaluation measurements, and a commitment to customer satisfaction • Must be able to lift and move heavy objects • Results and quality driven • Possess excellent judgment and decision-making skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Experience with Microsoft Applications • Punctual and reliable
