Description
Puget Sound Solar is the oldest photovoltaic installer in the region. We are mission driven, and we have a carved out a hard earned reputation for excellence in our work. We expect a lot from our employees but we also listen to them.
This position is responsible for the installation of all non-electrical equipment on a roof. While the working environment is often on new construction jobsites and the roofs are often flat the jobsites will be varied and working from heights is a must. This work can be dangerous and as a result we demand adherence to the highest level of safety.
This position will be responsible for moving materials (mainly concrete pavers and solar panels) and involves a lot of lifting objects that are 40-60lbs.
This is a good way to get your foot in the door of the solar industry. Paths from here range from an electrical apprenticeship to project management or design, and we are active in the residential solar and electric vehicle infrastructure spaces as well.
